Praise dance is a phrase that brings to mind, a picture of white flowing garments and smooth fluid movements. This is to be expected, even though that image represents only a certain aspect of praise dancing or dancing for God.
One thing to note is that our God loves variety and in these latter times, praise dance has come to involve tap, jazz, hip-hop, ballet, salsa, and more.
Dancing for God has taken on a greater meaning even as more people are called into this amazing ministry. Christian dancers all over the world are ministering to the lost in languages they understand! We need to be aware of the various styles of Praise Dance that exist, so we can help people understand that church is really a place where dance can take on new meaning.
There are many ways to Jesus but only One Way to God. Dance, like every thing else, cannot get a soul saved; but it can provide a stage for the Spirit of God to move. We believe that praise dance is every bit as much ministry, as any other recognized form out there, and we hope you agree.
